Welcome

For those of you who haven't heard our story, we decided to get married several months ago. We made the decision together, without a formal proposal. We both feel like this is too important of a decision to be surprised with out of the blue and put under pressure to make a life-changing decision.

While planning the wedding we decided that we also feel that we wanted a private and intimate ceremony. Not only was it logistically easier to put together, but we didn't want to spend so much time on planning the wedding that we neglected to plan the marriage itself.

The planning phase was pretty difficult for both of us, and usually ended up with bringing more options to the table than narrowing down the list. Ultimately we found a bed & breakfast near Victoria, Canada that was exactly what we were looking for and decided to just go with it. (See the link on the right.) This is actually pretty fitting for us, as we have been making these somewhat spontaneous trips (which have all sent us to Canada, ironically) since we first started dating.
